Copper Penny accommodates up to 6 guests in 3 spacious cabins each with a queen sized bed and en-suite. Enjoy a Blu-Ray DVD on the 18" flatscreen tv in your room or keep in touch and read the news online via the boat's wireless internet. Watch your favorite college football team play on the 42 flatscreen 3-D TV in the salon or spend your time on Copper Penny completely unplugged its your vacation, your way.
If you like to be active, weve got the gear. Strap on the waterskis, snorkel a reef teeming with tropical fish or throw a line in the water as we sail to Anegada - activities and options abound on Copper Penny. Your captain is also a Padi Divemaster so if youre a certifiied diver, you will definitely want to check out some of the great dives in the BVI like the Wreck of the Rhone or Diamond Reef. Your weight integrated BC and dive computer make it easy.

Presented by DMA Yachting, the breathtaking charter yacht COPPER PENNY is a 56 ft sailing catamaran. The highlights of COPPER PENNY are her most appealing features and experienced crew. COPPER PENNY spends the summer and winter season in St. Maarten/St. Martin. She was completed by the renowned boatbuilder Lagoon in 2011. A comprehensive refit was delivered in 2020. The spacious yacht layout features 3 generous cabins and easily accommodates a group of 6 guests.
COPPER PENNY is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The yacht layout radiates from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck is where heart of the yacht is and that's where most of the delicious meals are served. The immersive cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. The cabins offer unbeatable views in the morning and are located just below deck. Multiple portholes offer desirable views, while providing privacy if needed.
The sailboat features 2 YANMAR 110HP DIESEL ENGINES 17.5 ONAN GENSET 9 kw NORTHERN LIGHTS FOR A/C AT NIGHT engines and a generator.

Diving Onboard
The Virgin Islands are ideal waters to dive in. The water temperatures remain constant between 79F in winter & 85F in summer months. Average dive visibility is 80Ft. The BVI has over 75 dive sites that range in depth from 50 – 85Ft. No wetsuit is necessary in the summer and a 3mm shorty is suitable for winter months. A dive skin or rash guard is advisable to wear anytime.
With reefs teeming with large fish and healthy corals, the Virgin Islands are the ideal place to SCUBA dive. There are many shipwrecks to explore including the RMS Rhone and the Chikuzen. The water is crystal clear and most dive sites are protected from the waves providing for comfortable entry and exit from the water. The Virgin Islands sits atop a plateau so most dives are fringing reefs and shallow pinnacles, the reef face is protected by excellent mooring systems, maintained by the BVI's National Parks Trust.
