The Bali 5.4 is a "Multihull of the Year" award-winning catamaran. The design was new to the market in 2019 and provided a fresh approach to sailing. It is revolutionary in how space is accessed, with deliberate attention to flow and open space and it succeeds in producing a scale that feels less like a boat, and more like an upscale floating condominium.
Bali catamarans are known and appreciated for their unparalleled success in blending luxury, space, and performance; producing a sailing experience that is unparalleled. This new design further capitalizes on that reputation with the advent of the "Bali garage door" that is the centerpiece of the vacht. It allows for the aft wall of the yacht to simply disappear, opening up the back of the yacht to an unobstructed view of paradise. This also affords indoor/outdoor dining options and gives the ever-present Caribbean breeze ample opportunity to make its way through the yacht with ease.
With her solid foredeck gone are the forward trampolines, replaced by a large relaxing lounge area complete with cushions for sunbathing. A full-sized door provides access directly from the lounge area into the salon, allowing free movement through the yacht. A walk up to the flybridge unveils a seating area perfect for cocktails and taking in sunsets. There is also another area for sunbathing on the flybridge where you can take in the sights of the islands from the highest vantage point on the yacht.
The Bali open space design is further complimented by the superior outfit and aftermarket iters available on Katlo. No detail has been left unnoticed from the fine linens, pillows and throws to the wine glasses, serving and flatware that make every day feel luxurious. She has been stocked full with every appliance and kitchen accessory to allow the chef to fully showcase the mastery of their art.
And the water toys abound, allowing guests to fully experience all the Caribbean has to offer, both in and out of the water.
Katlo will accommodate 6 charter guests in 2 spacious queen cabins and 1 owners suite that encompasses the entire port side vacht. She is a brand new 2023 sailing catamaran with a hard top, hydraulic lift, solar panels, air conditioning, water maker, ice maker, full sized refrigerator, a fully customizable menu, Caribbean made ecofriendly and reef safe toiletries, a bar stocked to guest preference, coffee/espresso machine, rendezvous scuba diving, snorkeling gear, underwater scooters, wakeboard, stand up paddle board, 10 ft. floating dock, pool noodles, fishing gear, board and card games, television in the salon, Fusion 3 Bluetooth enabled sound system and Katlo giveaways.
Presented by DMA Yachting, the impressive charter yacht KATLO is a 55 ft sailing catamaran. The highlights of KATLO are her most appealing features and experienced crew. KATLO spends the summer and winter season in St. Maarten/St. Martin. She was delivered by the renowned boatbuilder Bali Catamarans in 2023. The ingenious yacht layout features 4 large cabins and comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests.
KATLO is introduced primarily as a sailing catamaran. The yacht layout radiates from the main saloon, which connects to the aft deck. The aft deck features a variety of seating areas and that's where most of the meals are served. The tastefully decorated cabins are located in the 2 massive hulls. Florian hails from the scenic region of Bavaria in southern Germany, where he spent his childhood exploring the Alps and windsurfing on the crystal-clear lakes. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart and has expanded his expertise with further studies in Sustainable Manufacturing and Management in New Zealand and La Réunion.
Professionally, Florian has built a diverse career. Alongside his work in engineering consulting and project management, he has spent the past decade as a charter skipper, leading sailing adventures across the globe, from the Mediterranean to the remote islands of Tahiti.
An avid sportsman, Florian enjoys windsurfing, sailing, scuba diving, soccer, and snowboarding, and has traveled to 45 countries in pursuit of new adventures. Being fluent in German and English, and having advanced skills in French and Spanish, rounds out his quest for culture and a broader understanding of the world. All of this coupled with his passion for the ocean and his technical background make him a well-rounded companion for sailing adventures.

Her diverse career has seen her excel as a yacht broker, project manager, a chef in restaurants, at festivals, and on yachts, as well as a narketing expert and event creator. With degrees in Management and Project Management from universities in Warsaw and Paris, Julianna skillfully combines her organizational talents with a passion for culinary artistry.
Her marketing expertise combined with her creativity, allows her to craft unique events and experiences, whether aboard a yacht or at a destination venue. Julianna has orchestrated bespoke events such as gourmet dining experiences, themed parties, and culinary festivals, blending her organizational skills with an artistic flair. She has a natural talent for creating immersive, memorable events that leave a lasting impression on her guests.
As a passionate sailor, licensed skipper and chef, Julianna has explored the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Caribbean waters, drawing culinary inspiration from her experiences in Croatia, Greece, Turkey, Spain, France, Poland, and Italy. She has a talent for crafting dishes infused with local flavors and sourcing unique ingredients from artisanal markets, treating cooking as an art form. Julianna also holds a special fondness for the British Virgin Islands, where the turquoise waters, hidden coves, and rich Caribbean culture deeply inspire her. She often incorporates local spices, tropical fruits, and fresh seafood into her dishes, creating a flavorful fusion that reflects the essence of the region.
