Having more than two decades of experience in the boating sector, Dushan has sailed diverse waters throughout his sailing career, from the Caribbean to the West Mediterranean. He captained a Ketch 72 and Hanse 54 catering to private charters in the Mediterranean and Adriatic seas, refining his leadership acumen. Following this tenure, he then captained a Ketch 65, where he had led her sea trials and revised her operational manuals prior to her launch on the market. He then embarked on a global charter season aboard a Dix 57 Cutter and completed two transatlantic crossings, perfecting his operational management of sailboats. Overall, Dushan’s extensive experience demonstrates his unwavering commitment to excellence, with each charter contributing to his depth of knowledge and perfection of his skills as a captain.
Job Description
Dushan is responsible for navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew, and guests. He always ensures the safe and efficient operation of LA LOEVIE, including compliance with all procedures and regulations that keep our guests safe. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port state and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the catamaran’s policies. He further encourages teamwork, individual growth, and personal attention in delegating duties and supervising all crew tasks.

Maja began her sailing career aboard the 54ft Sloop FOLLOW ME, where she embraced a multitude of roles including Mate, Deckhand, Stewardess, and Cook. During this period, she excelled in catering to both private and professional charters, ensuring seamless experiences for guests and crew alike. Afterward, she spent the next half decade refining her skills aboard different vessels, such as a Classic Wooden Ketch, a Dix 57 Cutter, and a Jongert, all while maintaining the same role. This period allowed her to enhance her expertise across various tasks, showcasing her versatile and adaptable range of skills in the maritime domain. Her most recent experience includes delivering a Swan 76 full carbon cruiser and catering to private charters aboard a Shipman 72 in the Mediterranean.
Job Description
As stewardess, Maja is responsible for organisation, management, and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate record of all service items and supplies and ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to all guest trips. As chef, Maja is further responsible for the crew and guest meals throughout the charter. With a deft touch and creative flair, she crafts meals that can be likened to the finest dining experiences. From haute cuisine to international treats, her artful skill in the kitchen knows no bounds.
