Top Shelf is a comfortable, yet elegant, Hatteras Motor Yacht that is just right for a family or a group of friends. With many exceptional seating areas and a full complement of toys, she can fulfill the requirements of the most discerning of guests. Offered by DMA Yachting, the majestic charter yacht TOP SHELF is a 80 ft motor yacht. The most appealing features of TOP SHELF are her impeccable styling and alfresco dining areas. TOP SHELF spends the summer and winter season in St. Maarten/St. Martin. She was completed by the well-known ship builder Hatteras in 2007. A well-done refit was completed in 2020. The expansive yacht layout features 4 large cabins and comfortably accommodates a group of 8 guests.

TOP SHELF is classified as a superyacht. The key part of the boat -spacious aft deck, continues to the well-equipped and inviting main saloon. The main saloon is a comfortable space to spend time when the weather is not ideal and boasts a number of entertainment options.

4 spacious cabins are thoughtfully spread out for maximum privacy and comfort.

The motor yacht features C32 Acerts 1800HP each, engines and a generator.

Accommodation

The full with beam of Top Shelf gives her lots of space aboard. Guests love to lounge in the spacious salon, and can opt to dine in the dedicated more formal dining room or enjoy the aft deck dining table. The upper deck enclosed lounge is a favorite, and guests can step aft for exterior sun, or lounging, Triangular awnings provide shade as needed. The bow is also set up with huge lounge pads for sunning or enjoying calm passages.
Below is the King Primary cabin -the berth is 76'x80"; VIP Queen cabin forward, port and starboard queen cabins all 60' x 80", You can enjoy watching your meals bring prepared with a visit to the "country kitchen" galley and table.
Top Shelf's interior was inspired in her recent refit by the colors, culture, and Ottoman flair of Turkey. Her cheerful blue and yellow palette, porcelain art and mosaic, and fine silk carpet give an exotic yet cozy comfort. Top Shelf is an excellent choice for any style charter.

Price Terms

Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see

Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).

All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.

The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).

For a motor yacht like TOP SHELF, the expected APA is 25% to 40% of the charter price ($9,500 - $15,200), making the charter cost $47,500 to $53,200. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.

You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).

The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

Top Shelf feels like a new boat! She had very little running time before the present owner purchased her. The purchase was followed by a refit featuring new paint, new decking and flooring, new soft furnishings, plus beautifully built and designed new cabinetry.

Captain: Edin Mudjanovic

Captain Edin, “Ed,” thrives off of sharing his lens of the world from Top Shelf as an interactive playground with white sand beaches waiting to be touched and glistening blue water with the best secrets yet to be discovered. Ed was originally born in Heidelberg, Germany with Croatian and Bosnian Heritage. Always driven towards activity, he spent a lot of his childhood in Pacific Northwest, the epicenter for outdoor enthusiasts. When he’s not out on the water, Ed also enjoys hiking, biking, snowboarding, and fishing.

It was also early in life that Ed was exposed to the world of yachting. Falling in love with travel and the idea of sharing incredible experiences with others, it was undeniable that yachting was his destiny. Driven to make this his career path, Ed made it his mission to balance his college education, receiving his Bachelor of Business Administration from Gonzaga University, while also working on yachts in the Mediterranean.

Post college graduation, Ed has been active in working on charter yachts full-time for the past four years. The Bahamas are his dream location that he is happy to call home. It is a place where he feels like he’s on another planet with sparse populations and long sandy beaches, yet just an easy flight or cruise from civilization. Achieving his 200 ton Masters License, and 500 ton Near Coastal credentials, Ed’s safe and adventurous spirit are the ideal combination on board Top Shelf. You can find him entertaining guests with fishing and an assortment of watersports. As a Captain who has been a dedicated deckhand, Ed is extremely hands on in assisting the crew to provide guests the perfect blend of luxury service and activity.


Chef: Joel Ehrich

Chef Joel could not have imagined a better twist to his culinary career than when he discovered the magic he could concoct on board a charter yacht. As the former Chef de Cuisine at the iconic Absinthe Brasserie & Bar and Bellota, Joel has played an integral part within The Absinthe Group for several years.

His prior culinary career took him from his home in Fort Lauderdale, to studying at the College of Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University, and even out to California where he sharpened his skills, progressing his way up to sous chef at a variety of well renowned Napa Valley restaurants including Philippe Jeanty’s Michelin-starred Bistro Jeanty. Returning back to his home in Florida, he rounded out his skill set managing two “sister restaurants” featuring global cuisine with highlights of Italian classics and Asian fusion.

Joel’s favorite part of the culinary arts is guiding guests through a timeless culinary experience. He is motivated to seek the freshest ingredients, creating food that is easily identifiable and presented in a way that is unimaginable. His palate and personal favorite dishes are constantly evolving as diverse, cultural cuisines intrigue him.

In his spare time, Joel enjoys experimenting with home farming and fermenting, and remaining active with jiu jitsu as well as a wide variety of outdoor activities. There is nothing more fulfilling to Joel than sharing his passion for exploring on multiple levels. He loves to see guests light up the beautiful sights of the Bahamas, and equally delight at the adventure that awaits on every plate!

Truly a Top Shelf Experience for my Top Producers!
Captain Mario and the entire crew were awesome! I took my top producers out for the full day experience and they are still going on and on about it ! We had an absolute blast . Everything was perfect from the pristine condition of the boat and attention to detail to the food, drinks, music and all the water toys you need. This yacht has something for everyone. Whether you want to just chill in the shade and stare out at the water, lay in the sun on the sun deck , or take a break inside in the luxurious cabin in the air conditioning , you cannot beat it. We will definitely be back and think we have found our new annual tradition!

An Awesome Experience
We chartered Top Shelf with four other couples for a full day including lunch and dinner. The yacht is absolutely luxurious and beautifully appointed. Captain Mario, Mate Brian, Chef Nicole, and other crew members Karla and Sophia are very personable and provided an unsurpassed level of service. Several of us used water toys — jet boat and Sea-Doo. Wow!! Brian makes the jet boat fly across the water.

Fabulous evening cruise!!!
What a fantastic evening!!! Crew was amazing!! The food was awesome!!! Worth every penny! The boat is stunning, very well decorated and very comfortable. Beautiful upstairs bar and deck as well as inside dining.

Beautiful boat with a great crew! We booked a full day trip and wish we booked the evening as well. They had fun water toys and took the kids tubing! Chef Nicole prepared great food!

This was an experience of a lifetime. The hosts were extremely accommodating and kind. This was a luxurious experience that had us feeling like royalty. Between the jet boat, jet ski, and other toys we had an action packed day. 10/10 recommend!

The perfect way to relax and unwind! The yacht is absolutely beautiful and amenities are top notch. There is plenty of activities and water toys on board, as well as, a large bunny pad, available for catching all the rays on a sunny day. The crew is very attentive and take pride in the service they provide. This is a perfect example of seeing everything Hilton Head has to offer.

A much needed HIGH END Experience for the Hilton Head Area
Had the opportunity to experience the Top Shelf a few weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The accommodations and layout of the vessel lends to a perfect setting for a group of up to 20-25 guests. With multi decks and sitting areas the yacht is spectacular. The food and beverage experience was top notch. For those looking for a first class luxury experience for their group this is a much needed experience for the Hilton Head area.

A unique and luxurious way to experience the natural beauty of Hilton Head Island! We enjoyed an evening cruise with amazing food, drinks, and staff. We enjoyed seeing dolphins and taking in the sights such as the Harbour Town lighthouse. This vessel is a showstopper, for sure, and you will not regret getting to spend time here. A truly impressive way to entertain and gather.

LUXURIOUS EXPERIENCE AND AMAZING SERVICE
My husband and had the opportunity to attend a private event at this luxurious "yacht" and it was an amazing experience. The boat is gorgeous! It is very spacious, with several cabins, sitting areas both indoor and outdoor, and the crew was fantastic. Very attentive to everything we needed. Food and drinks were also plentiful, and of course the best of the best!. I loved the fact that we could walk around the boat and experience the coast of Hilton Head Island from the water perspective. It is such a completely different view. Being a local for 20 years, one never gets tired of the waters around Hilton Head, and this yacht offers that opportunity in an exclusive and sophisticated way. Great experience and one that you cannot miss!!!
